Saleem is Kaiju Capital Management’s ultimate gatekeeper. As Cyber Security Analyst, she manages and monitors the company’s computer networks and systems, updating security software and firewalls while testing for potential vulnerabilities. In this role, Saleem develops best security practices and works to ensure the business continuity of KCM systems.

While ensuring the Kaiju team delivers world-class service, Saleem also fosters a positive, spirited environment designed to energise and unite a team working remotely from different corners of the globe.

With a Master’s degree in management information systems and a major in information security from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, Saleem holds an ever-expanding variety of certifications. They include: Certified Safe 4 Agilist, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master I (PSM), GIAC Public Cloud Security (GPCS), CompTIA Security + and (ISC2) System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP). Saleem started her career with Microsoft, supporting the Outlook app for mobile and macOS.

Information technology was not Saleem’s first undergraduate degree choice. Early on, she focused on pure sciences, and Saleem says she’d be a doctor now had she not discovered her knack for grasping and synthesising new concepts and programs. Within this arena, she found she has a particular talent for communicating new technologies effectively. In 2016, Saleem joined Flux7, an NTT Data Company that assists Fortune 500 companies in the design and deployment of robust AWS solutions. She began as an assistant project manager and was promoted to scrum master.

Saleem is a valued member of several key committees including the Technology & Product Development, Cybersecurity and the DEI & Wellness Committees.

Aside from her work, Saleem enjoys spending time with family, binge-watching Asian dramas and anime, and immersing herself in the stories of those who work to make the world a more equitable and just place.
